Lucknow Metro Map, Lucknow Metro train is a rapid transit system that operates in the city of Lucknow in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The city of Nawabs, Lucknow is the capital of the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is situated in approximately 631 sq.km. The construction of the Lucknow Metro Line started on 27 September 2014 with an extension of 8.5 km from Transport Nagar to Charbagh Railway Station, the operation of the Metro for the public started on 5 September 2017.

Metro Rail Lucknow is built under Metro Rail Corporation Limited (LMRC). Its first section was inaugurated and open to the public on 6 September 2017. At present 21 metro stations are functional. LMRCL has also launched an app to make metro services more useful.

Lucknow Metro Route Map

Lucknow Metro runs daily from 6 am to 10 pm. Due to Kovid-19, metro trains are operating between Munshi Pulia and Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport till 9 pm. On normal days the last metro train runs at 10.30 pm. Lucknow Metro runs on two routes of the train, one on the basis of Red Line and the other on Blue Line.

The Red Line is the first metro line to open the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport and connect it with Charbagh in central Lucknow in the south. Red Line train has lines covering a distance of 22.87 kms but is being extended up to Munshi Pulia.
